Because the components of the blade chain are similar in size to the standard roller chain, the economic production of the blade chain depends to a large extent on the factory that can produce a large number of roller chains. So what are the functions of the leaf chain?
The Leaf Chain is a simple structure of link plates and pins. Pulleys (not sprockets) are used to change the direction of the blade chain. Blade chains are a form of rollerless chains and are commonly used in various material handling applications and lifting equipment, including:
- Telescopic forklifts, forklifts, lifts and winches
- Mobile elevated platform
- Machine tools (planer, drill, machine head and machining center)
- Balance weight balance (jack, door and gate)
