Transmission Chain , as a common transmission force device, reduces the friction force through the "chain" design of hyperbolic arc. It is used in places where the power is relatively large and the running speed is relatively slow. It has obvious advantages over belt transmission, such as Tanks, pneumatic compressors, etc., but the transmission speed can not be too fast, because the chain is not as flexible as the belt transmission. The quality of the chain depends on the pin and sleeve.


The transmission chain error will affect the accuracy of the tool movement. In some cases, it is the main factor affecting the machining accuracy. For example, when hobbing gears, the ratio of the speed of the hob to the speed of the workpiece needs to be constant and maintain a strict motion relationship. When the transmission elements in the transmission chain (such as roll-cut hanging wheels, indexing worm gear pairs, etc.) have manufacturing errors and assembly errors, and wear during use, they will destroy the correct motion relationship and cause the rolled gear to produce Errors (such as cycle joint error, cycle joint cumulative error and tooth shape error, etc.). Therefore, the transmission accuracy of the transmission chain of the machine tool depends first on the manufacturing and assembly accuracy of each transmission element, and secondly on the position of each transmission element in the transmission chain.
