Drive Chain Manufacturers introduces common heat treatment methods for suspension chains: annealing, normalizing, quenching, tempering, carburizing, nitriding, carbonitriding, and boronizing.

1. Annealing, heat the workpiece to 30-50 degrees above Ac3, after holding it for a certain period of time, slowly cool down to 500 degrees with the furnace and cool in the space.

2. Normalizing, heating the steel to Ac3 or above Acm, and then hanging the chain after heat preservation, taking it out of the furnace and cooling it in the air.

3. Quenching, heating the steel to Ac3 or above Ac1, and then rapidly cooling in water or oil and other cooling fluids after holding the temperature, and an unstable structure has been obtained.

4. The suspension chain is tempered, and the quenched steel is reheated to a temperature below Ac1, and then cooled to room temperature after heat preservation.

5. Natural aging treatment, the aging phenomenon that occurs when the workpiece is stored at room temperature or under natural conditions for a long time is called natural aging treatment.

6. Artificial aging treatment, using the aging treatment process of heating the workpiece to a higher temperature and hanging the chain to a higher temperature and performing the aging treatment in a shorter time, called artificial aging treatment.
